Tips For Optimal Health in 2009

Get adjusted on a regular basis!
Adjustments
result in optimum nerve flow. Where there is optimum nerve flow,
the body can be strong, maintain and heal itself. Optimum nerve
flow equals optimum health.

Move more!
Get off the couch! Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move
your body. Walk the dog, take the stairs, dance the cha cha, mow
the lawn and chase the kids. Anything that moves your limbs and
body is not only a form of fitness but also a stress buster.
3. Adapt
a diet of wholesome, low fat foods.
Science shows that a varied diet of relatively unprocessed foods
such as fruits, veggies, grains and brown rice is best for the body.
Drink lots of water. Avoid fatty foods and eat low-fat versions
when you can. Reduce your carb intake. Increase your fruits, veggies
and fibre intake. Read labels and learn about what you are putting
in your body.

Be happy!
Keep a positive mental outlook. There is a definite connection between
healthy living and having a cheerful outlook on life. Visualize
goals. Let go of anger and judgment. Laugh, sing, and smile often.
Give thanks daily. Love more.
5. Conduct
a Media Fast!
Give yourself 40 days without radio, television, newspapers, or
magazines and notice how your focus and attitude improves!
6. Go
to bed!
Have at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep a day on a constant basis. If
this is not possible, learn to catnap. Proper sleep enables your
body to heal and recuperate.
7.
Relax!
Spend at least 30 minutes per day doing something you like. Read
a book, meditate, pray, soak in the tub, listen to music. Count
to 10 before you lose your temper of get aggravated. Avoid difficult
people when possible. Experience inner peace. Simplify your life
by organizing a room or desk. Express your feelings. Control your
schedule and make time each day for reflection. Have a massage.

Minimize your intake of drugs.
Try more natural remedies for common health problems and decrease
your intake of unnecessary drugs, which can have harmful long-term
effects. Remember, true health comes from within-not from a bottle.
9. One
drink of wine only please!

help protect against heart disease but more than that can cause
other serious health problems such as liver and kidney disease.
10. Learn ways to build your immune system naturally.
Chiropractic adjustments, exercise, and good nutrition will boost
the body's defenses. Get ready to fight those super bugs.
