Kathy Pye, Dr. Ac., has more than 18 years experience in the medical field, 15 of it specializing in the practice of prevention and wellness. With training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Auricular Medicine and Homeopathy, she specializes in women’s health issues with more than 90% of her private practice comprising such issues as menopause and breast health.

Kathy has studied with many noteworthy practitioners such as Dr. Beatte Strittmater, Educational Director of the German Medical Academy, and the late Dr. Gerard Guinot, founder of four homeopathic colleges in France and Belgium. She is certified by the Auricular Certification Institute in the United States, as well as in Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation, Biotherapeutic Drainage, and other advanced techniques. Currently she instructs in auricular acupuncture and homeopathy on behalf of many professional organizations.

Previous to this, Dr. Pye spent more than 10 years as a Certified Athletic Therapist, working with many national sporting teams, as well as serving as a member of the core medical team for Canada at many international sporting events. She also served as a member of the Ontario Athletic Therapists Association Board of Directors, three of which were in the role of President.

When not working, Dr. Pye enjoys spending time with her family, Darius, son age 10 and partner Kevin., who together are avid trekkers, having most recently completing a trek to Base Camp Everest and are currently training for a summit attempt to Mount Kilimanjaro.
