At Gardiner Family Chiropractic Centre we understand the importance of supporting the community of Grimsby. Whenever possible we refer patients to local businesses and professionals to help them meet their individual needs. Here are some of the wonderful activities we participate in on a yearly basis:

1. Christmas "Senior's Secret Stockings"
In 2007, we began a new tradition at GFCC. We delivered 50 personalized stockings on Christmas Eve to residents of Grimsby & Beamsville nursing homes. The staff at the homes helped us choose residents with no family and also aided us in providing a "wish list" for these residents. Through generous donations we were able to make them smile and even bring a few tears on this special holiday. One resident commented "You have made me believe again! "

2. Christmas Teddy Bear Drive
For the past six years we have asked our terrific patients to bring in a toy Teddy with the hope it will bring a smile to some child's face on Christmas morning. The local Benevolent Fund five the Teddies to local families in the food baskets they distribute each year. The last three years local Chiropractic patients have donated over 100 bears each holiday season. T'is the season to be jolly!

3. Spring Food Drive
What a fabulous day this turns into each spring! Every April we have a TERRIFIC PATIENT DAY and ask our terrific patients to donate food and household items to the local food bank. We have healthy treats and prizes all day long. We have had such a tremendous response from our generous patients that several vans have to come over to load up the hundreds of pounds of goods! The Benevolent Fund is very appreciative and looks forward to our amazing collection each spring!

4. Chiro Kids Day
Each summer we hold a special educational "Chiro Kids Day " at the office for our chiropractic patients. The kids have a course, the importance of a healthy nervous system. We have quizzes, play games, draw a mural and enjoy a healthy lunch together. For the last several years we have also had a special appearance by Nick the Magician! Fun Wow!
